Cyclone WInston, the second largest cyclone in recorded history, has left a path of devastation across the Islands of Fiji. Thousands have been left homeless, powerless, and without connection. What the winds did not destroy, flooding from the torrential rains is.

The Fijian Islands are not only amazingly beautiful, but are home to the most fantastically friendly and giving people you will ever meet. As you enter the country, you are received with a resounding “BULA”, and it only gets better from there. Warm smiles abound. You are treated with an astounding level of generosity, you are given too from so many who don’t have much. Their spirit is contagious and uplifting, you sense the warmth, the caring, the family, the love.

We have been blessed by our brothers and sisters in FIji, through their selfless generosity and welcoming hearts. In a time of great sadness for us, we were blessed to be able to serve there, to serve their churches and the people. Our time their truly healed us. We would like to bless our family there in some way in their time of need.

We would like to build a relief fund for the people we hold most dear. We would like to be able to bless them as they recover from the devastation of this Cyclone.

Our goal would be to provide money for repairs, for lost income, for use by them in blessing their brothers and sisters around them.

Any money raised would be donated directly to Churches that are a part of the network of churches we work with. Any money over and above their need would be given to Give Clean Water to support the work they are already doing in FIji.
